Amy Lam loves to make people cry… with her dramatic films. While tears are a familiar sight in the theater, they are not limited to the screen. When she's not behind the camera, Amy channels her emotions into many different activities that bring her joy. Whether it's belting out ballads in a karaoke bar or harmonizing with friends around a campfire, every note carries the weight of her experiences and dreams. On the volleyball court, Amy’s tears mingle with sweat as she dives for a save or celebrates a hard-earned point with her teammates. Traveling with friends offers Amy a canvas to paint memories as she explores new destinations and immerses herself in different cultures. In Amy Lam's world, tears are not just a symbol of sadness, but also of the depth of human experience.

EXPERIENCE

2018 - 2022

Digital Arts STEAM at Immaculata La-Salle:

In my high school's Digital Arts program, I got Adobe Photoshop certified in my first year and have been studying to get certified in Final Cut Pro X. I am the youngest in my class, but certainly do not fall behind. My teacher usually gives us a new topic each week and we make a new short film in that category. If we are not interested in the category or have another project, we have complete creative freedom.

EXTRACURRICULARS

2020 - 2022

Drama Club at Immaculata La-Salle:

During my Junior Year ('20-'21) I was elected as the Service Coordinator. Since we were online during the year, I created an entire virtual escape room from scratch. We raised money to help fund covid vaccines for children. That year we also had trouble communicating with our broad so I ended up taking the role of the Media Rep. I was in charge of the Drama Instagram and made many commercials for the shows throughout the year. Now, during my senior year, I am Vice President. I still help making the videos and guide others in this task.
